It’s Banbury at home next in the FA Cup

After their fine 4-0 win at Cleethorpes with Adam Rooney scoring a hat-trick and Jack Storer having a fine game according to those there, The Bards have been drawn at home to Banbury United in the next round on Saturday 17 September. It’s a tough draw against the side currently 2nd in the Nationwide North, having won our league last season doing the double over Town. Both sides reached the First Round Proper of the Competition last year in front of the TV cameras facing league sides at home. There should be a big crowd at The Arden Garages Stadium for this local derby like there was last season when we thumped Nuneaton 4-0 at this stage. The winners will pocket £3,375 an d the losers will take home £1,125
