Town are through to the semi finals of the CSS League Cup after coming out on top against Kettering Town to make it three wins from the four penalty shoot-outs they have been involved in this season.

The scheduled 90 minutes had ended 3-3 after Kettering had opened the scoring in the  first minute of the match before Town had hit back to lead 2-1 and then3-2 , but the shoot-out was far more one-sided after Kettering had missed their first two spot kicks.

Will Grocott, jimmy Fry and Kian Williams  were all on target for Town and it was Lewis Wilson who blasted in Town’s fourth to send them through by q 4-1 margin.
