“I thought we were the better side and deserved our win” reflected Thomas Baillie after seeing his team get the better of his old club Kettering Town to reach the CSS League Cup semi finals.

“I made a number of changes from Saturday to give some of the other lads game time and after the shock of the first minute goal I felt that we put in a tremendous performance against a powerful Kettering line-up.

They have far greater depth to their squad than we have and they fielded a much stronger side than I thought  they might, but  we stuck at it and were worthy winners even though it was via the penalty shoot-out route.”
