“We haven’t done enough in the final third in our recent matches and it happened again today” was Thomas Baillie’s honest assessment after only the second League loss of his time as Town boss.
It was bound to come back and bite us and this afternoon it has. They had one chance and they took it after not looking as if they really wanted to win.
we are very sound defensively but we are not creating anything like enough chances up front and that has got to change. We are having conversations with another couple of strikers who hopefully will be with us soon, but no matter who the strikers are we have to provide them with the openings to score.
Although we no longer have Mike Taylor the one player we are missing at the moment is Albi Skendi who was our driving force in midfield, and I’m hoping that he will be back and available to play very shortly. He will make a big difference”
