“It was a very tough game against a very good team” reflected Town boss Thomas Baillie after seeing his side battle to a fully deserved point against  the League leaders.

“But we are a good team ourselves as we proved this afternoon.  we don’t fear anybody and we are right in the mix for the play-off places now.

I thought that Dan Preston on his debut was absolutely immense for us.  while he was on the field one or two of the Stourbridge midfielders went missing only to return when I took him off as he hasn’t had much game time recently.

I must also mention Lewis Wilson who did a tremendous job as a stand-in right back against one of the best wide players in the League.

It’s good to have both Nabil Shariff and Dan Summerfield back.   Nabil gives up something different up front while Dan can play in a number of positions.

Kynan Isaac has now completed his suspension and will be available for New Year’s Day against Biggleswade while Albi Skendi is expected back soon.

Albi is a massive player for us, but it’s worth pointing out that we haven’t lost during his absence as other players have come in and shown that we now have depth to our squad which is essential if we are to continue the run we are on.”
