Town’s best ever run in the Buildbase Trophy was ended at a cold, wet and windy Mill Farm Stadium as AFC Fylde showed their National League class to progress through to the next round.

Fylde were three up at half time and added a fourth with ten minutes to go.   Jordan Williams pulled one back for Town as the game headed into added time only for Fylde to promptly go down the other end to make it five.
