Town will be looking to create a bit of history when they take on Mickleover Sports from the Northern Premier League in the Second Qualifying Round of the Buildbase F A Trophy on Saturday.

Since they became eligible for this competition after gaining promotion to the Southern League in 2013 Town have reached this stage three times but have never managed to progress further.

Away ties at Rushall Olympic in 2014, Ashton United the following  year  and Lancaster City last season have all ended in defeat, but with tomorrow’s game being at the Arden Garages Stadium it must surely provide the best chance yet of going one better and also collecting the £4000 prize money which goes to the winners.
