They say that a week is a long time in football, but then again perhaps not all that much has changed in the last 50 years. The 1968/69 season saw Town doing battle with such familiar names as our regular foe Alvechurch and the Greenbacks of Bedworth, with a line up that included Sid and Liam Keenan- names that are still no doubt familiar to visitors to Knights Lane in recent seasons.
