A small but select contingent of  Town supporters attended  Jamie’s Charity Day held at Sutton Coldfield Town’s ground on Sunday and which featured Town and Sutton Coldfield’s play off winning sides taking  on each other followed by a Leamington Old Boys team against Jamie’s All Stars.

The legendary names in the Town side were  Sam Adkins, Kevin Charley, Guy Clark,  Richard Gregory, Scott Hadland, Joe Halsall, Andy Kemp, Gary Moran, Alex Price, Loyiso Recci, Chris Sterling and Aaron Stringfellow.

After Jamie himself kicked off to sustained applause a competitive 30 minutes each way saw Sutton getting the better of a 2-1 scoreline with Chris Sterling on the mark for Town.

But the real purpose of the afternoon was to raise money for Jamie and his chosen charities and a packed clubhouse for the raffle and auction afterwards made sure that this was accomplished in style.
