I have been contacted by the Phil Saunders, the owner and administrator of the old forum, to advise that – because of disuse and the cost of update and maintenance -he will reluctantly have to close it down. For Townites of recent past years, this was a place of discussion, views – even a lively Prediction League – but sadly will be “put to sleep” shortly, as it has not been able to compete with social media.
