Youth Team Game OFF
Tonight’s Town Youth League Cup tie against Malvern has been called off as the pitch is waterlogged.
A short travelogue
As coach and fans travelled down to Basingstoke
A great rain, hail and snow storm broke
Pitch dry at four, it got a right old soak
At six the ref said ” Sorry. It’s off. No joke”
Sadly back the tears we all did choke
Wasted journeys for us Townite folk.
