Town Youth completed the seasonal double over Redditch in the MFYL Premier Division South as they followed up their record breaking 14-0 demolition of the Reds a fortnight ago with another emphatic success at the Trico Stadium on Tuesday evening
On Redditch’s 3G pitch Town were soon bossing the possession with Harry Hartin and James Pomeroy both having well struck shots saved by the Reds keeper before Hartin fired Town ahead with a sumptuous long range strike.
With Town now well on top George Kirby doubled their lead as he rounded the keeper to slot home to make it 2-0 at the break.
It was more of the same in the second half with Hartin again and Dan Atkins both testing the overworked Reds keeper but he had no chance when Bradley West hit Town’s third with an absolute screamer from 20 yards out.
Harry Jones wrapped it up with Town’s fourth late on, and Nick Ballinger’s progressive side have now found the back of the net 22 times in their last three outings
They are back in MFYL action next Monday (October 23rd) when they are away to Stourbridge.
