Town 1 Chesham United 3

It was hardly the ideal preparation for Saturday’s F A Cup clash at Scarborough as Town were soundly beaten by a slick Chesham side  on Tuesday evening.

Only a succession of fine saves   –  including one from a penalty  –  by Town keeper Louis Connor kept the game scoreless at half time, but after James Hancocks was sent off immediately after the restart there was only ever going to be one winner.

Guiseppe Iaciofano fired Chesham into a 52nd minute lead followed by Lewis Toomey adding two more in five minutes after the hour mark before Jazz Luckie  pulled one back for Town in added time right at the end.
