Saturday saw the Match of the Day between Jim Connolly and his beautiful bride Vicky.  Jim is the STISA secretary and is a long-time loyal and vocal supporter of “Town” both home and away.

The venue was the grand setting of the Town Hall and the match resulted in a 1-1 tie. Vicky unsurprisingly selected Jim  as MOTM and his reward was that he carried off home his “trophy” – his gorgeous new wife Vicky.

We wish them both a long and happy lifetime together.

Sadly, due to “technical difficulties”, there is no photographic record of the event (as far as the writer is concerned) – not of Jim in a “whistle and flute” nor of his fancy footwork displayed in the centre circle of the dance-floor at the reception.
