Town fans have been given a real boost with the news that star midfielder Will Grocott who swept the board at the End of Season Player Awards has signed a new contract to keep him at Knights Lane for the forthcoming campaign.
Joining from Kettering Town a year ago Will was Town’s stand-out player last term making 51 appearances and his creative influence was noticeably missed when he was absent from the line-up.
Meanwhile in what is virtually a swap of keepers Carl Adams has recruited 25 year old Louis Connor from Rugby Town to take over from Niall Cooper who switched to the Butlin Road club earlier this month.
