Two players who Town supporters know all about have left near neighbours Leamington during the past few days.
Midfielder Jack Edwards who was a product of Town’s Youth system before going on to Nottingham Trent University and then to Leamington in 2014 via Coventry Sphinx and Barwell has now been snapped up by National League side Solihull Moors after making 149 appearances for the Brakes.
Also on the move is former fans favourite Richard Gregory who switched from the DCS to Leamington midway through last season and has now joined Stafford Rangers. In his brief spell at the Brakes he only made seven starts with a further eleven appearances from the substitutes bench.
And by chance both may well be returning to the DCS during the coming pre-season as the Rangers are Town’s opponents in their opening friendly on Thursday July 13th followed by the Moors on Saturday July 29th.

Sid Keenan is now the club president Stan. Not sure if he was there in 1975 but think he was there for some part of the 1970’s. I’ve not known the club have any reunions but I agree that they would be a good idea and something we can suggest to the club’s media and communications guy.

Hi Stan, that would be great. If you could perhaps give us some details about when you played for Town and what position you played, we can then write a short article to spread the word.
