Former Town player, skipper and assistant manager Gary Moran has stepped down from his position as manager at Rugby Town.
Gary took over the Butlin Road hot seat last September with Rugby already struggling at the wrong end of the table. Their team featured a number of ex-Town players such as Aaron Moses-Garvey and Chris Sterling, and Gary looked to improve their performances by taking Trey Brathwaite, Warren Brooks and Charlie Faulkner on loan from Town’s current squad.
But following a home loss to Kidsgrove Athletic in their last match of the season they ultimately finished in one of the two relegation spots in the Evo-Stik Northern League Division 1 South.
Meanwhile following their defeat by Chorley in the National League North play-offs Kidderminster Harriers have announced that eight players are not being offered contracts for next term and have been released.
And among those eight are George Forsyth, James Hancocks and Wayne Thomas who all impressed when on loan at Town in the closing weeks of last season.
