Already assured of third spot in the MFYL Premier Division South table Town Youth completed their home fixtures in style and maintained their record of scoring in every game this season with an emphatic win over struggling Redditch United at the DCS on Thursday evening.
George Kirby slotted home from close range to give them a 12th minute lead and a couple of minutes later Jordan White added a second when his free kick went in off the unfortunate Reds keeper.
As Town continued to push forward Kirby had a decent effort well held by the keeper on the half hour mark before they went three up a minute before the break. The ball was neatly worked into the penalty area following a corner on the right and Ben Whitmarsh applied the finish from six yards out.
Town were always in control in the second half with White hitting his second to make it 4-0 on 74 minutes, and Harry Hartin almost added a fifth late on with the keeper just grabbing the ball as it went to cross the line.
Town wind up their campaign on Wednesday April 26th with an away game against Worcester City which will be played on Stourport Swifts’ ground.
