Tuesday’s match at Dunstable is an important game for Town (although ALL games are important at this stage of the season). Town’s form has generally been good lately – apart from the hiccup at Kings Lynn. We are 11 points clear of the drop zone and the current bottom four’s recent form is really pointing to they being the unfortunate teams to face the drop, although Kings Langley could be candidates also.
Town’s prospects look fairly safe – although mathematically not yet so – but one major step can be taken by beating Dunstable and jumping to 16th place, leapfrogging both Dorchester and Dunstable. What a psychological boost that would be to Carl’s boys !
The Bedfordshire side – the “Blues – are certainly looking “blue” at the moment as they have taken just one point from their last six league games …. and that was a draw at home to lowly Cirencester.
So on Tuesday evening – if you are not travelling to support the lads – a suggestion would be that you send positive thought-waves down the M1 to back the squad of “tangerines” or “whites” – whichever kit has been washed and whoever is available and fit !
In the meanwhile, let’s see a big turnout for the STISA members’ meeting at DCS.
